Everything that is seen enters the human eye as a pattern of light qualities. We discern forms in space as configurations of brightness and color. The whole visible world, natural and man-made, is a light world. Its heights and depths, its great outlines and intimate details are mapped by light. When the artist or designer makes forms, he shapes light and the forms themselves become shapes of light.

The best way to describe my work is to ask whoever is reading this:
Do you remember being a kid and having nothing but time to kill?
Do you remember having no choice but to look at things for so long you see patterns and textures ?
All my art exists because I had to fill so much time as a kid. I am not one to watch paint dry but I will notice all the marks from the brush or roller. Sometimes even feel the different textures. I grew up where if you wanted something you had to figure it out with whatever you could get. I am always trying to understand how the world truly works at its basics. Creatively is how I view the world, otherwise it doesn't make sense to me. At its core I want to make things that help people in some way although as you can see currently my work is there to help me. To leave the house and explore the world and to make things that help my brain have the time and space to move forward.
Everything for me is just about figuring out what can be achieved with whatever I can figure out like this website. I just needed a way to do something so I figured out the basics. I am influenced by creators like Casey Neistat who will say “Ideas are cheap. Ideas are easy. Ideas are common. Everybody has ideas. Ideas are highly, highly overvalued. Execution is all that matters.” and then he will pull a bunch of things from around the place and build whatever he needs to make it happen.
At the moment l have been enjoying reading the work of Gyorgy Kepes. I like how he is passionate about how light interacts with everything in a way it makes all the different things I explore in my practice become one.
I create through exploration. I make mistakes and learn from them over and over again until an end product finally forms itself. That's also how I continue to move forward with the things that I do.
In my work you will start to discover similar textures and colours and illusions they should make you feel something. For each person that feeling will be different but it should take you somewhere the longer you look at things. To make these items that is where I had to go basically anywhere else then I was that could be as simple as forgetting I am in a random shopping center or somewhere out in the desert. It's escaping the room I am in or going somewhere other than this stupid planet.
I hope all this stuff can come together in the future and find its place to be useful for people. My identity is placed in this zone of helping people. So I hope I start to head in that direction.
